This is a thread to share your own reviews on restaurants, I think that it has been long enough for our own ideas to arise, and new reports by our own KIC. Post/Ride on KIC, BB1

It's nice to see a topic like this. There are a lot of good restaurants out there close to amusement parks all over the country and I'd love to see what others have experienced in that arena. Having said that, here are a few of the ones we've been lucky enough to head to:

Cedar Point (Sandusky) - Chet & Matt's Pizza & El Potrillo Mexican (good burritos)

Worlds of Fun (Kansas City) - Oklahoma Joe's BBQ (best barbecue and sauce in the country IMO) & Pot Pie (the restaurant)

Six Flags Great Adventure (Jackson, NJ) - Oliver: A Bistro

Dollywood (Pigeon Forge, TN) - Chandler's Deli & Puleo's Grille

Six Flags St. Louis - Gelato Di Riso (try the lemon & blueberry sorbettos); Southtown Pub (good barbecue there); de.lish Cheesecake Bakery & Cafe (lemon cheesecake & quiche)

Kings Dominion (Richmond, VA) - Helen's Restaurant; Zeytin's Pizza (pizza only); Roma's Ristorante

I love Outback. Great place, just wish I could afford to go there more often. I usually get either the ribeye steak or the baby back ribs. Both are great.

I know of a CB near me, I may review. Where art thy godfathers pizza? Outback ribs sound great!

Speaking of Godfather's - does anyone know of Padrino in Old Milford? It is my favorite restaurant. Best pizza in Cincinnati! (Padrino = Godfather in Italian, by the way).

If you haven't had it, if you live within 30 minutes of Milford, please check it out sometime!

You gotta love Georgia. Or maybe not. If you order a hot dog with "sauce" down here, you likely will be asked if honey mustard is okay. Or barbecue. Sigh. Here they call it chili, and typically it's Armour, heated straight from the can. Blech.

Note even The Varsity refers to chili dogs. Their sauce, though, is not chili, but coarse ground beef with little flavoring. The Varsity has great onion rings and frosted orange, but the hot dogs are little better than those prepared by the average six year old (unless it's your six year old, whose hot dogs would of course be superb).

It's an experience and an Atlanta must do. That being said, been there, done that...years before I came down here to live. I've had The Varsity twice since I moved down here. Both times its truck came to me, the last time at Six Flags before the park opened. I had a burger and onion rings. There's a message in there somewhere.
