TheCrypt Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 What is so special about the Carousel organ? I know everyone here is deeply saddened by the fact that our organ isn't working, but what was so special? I might have experienced it, but was too young to remember. Quote
The Interpreter Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Carousel organs are rare, valuable, and the music they produce is fuller, richer and typically louder than the reproductions played in the absence of a working organ. What's so special about hearing a live performance as opposed to a live concert album? It's largely a good comparative question. You can hear the carousel organ from Mr. Dick Kinzel's house. At least some times. Or rather he and his visitors can. Quote
