Old Winterfest Show

Ok I was just thinking about this today and I have no idea if anyone will know what I'm talking about, but I'll ask anyway. Back when they used to do Winterfest at KI they used to have shows and each season would be a different show. This one season, I'd say it was back in the 80s, there was this one scene where this boy was running away from home on Christmas and he was like sitting on top of a roof and this little alien puppet thing beamed down or something and talk to him. I think they ended up singing "I'll Be Home for Christmas". Does anyone have any idea what show I'm talking about? If so, do you remember what it was called and do any pictures or videos exist of this (probably not though)?

I remember the alien puppet singing "I'll Be Home for Christmas", but I don't remember the storyline about a boy running away from home. I know it was one of the scenes from the Santa's Workshop show, which also had the huge blacklight reindeer puppets singing "Up On the Roof", the penguin puppets singing "The Twelve Days of Christmas" with a Cincinnati twist. I loved that show!

They reprised the show when they brought back Winterfest in '05. It was so nice to see it again!

If you scroll down the link Gator provided to standbyme's excellent photos, you can see how wonderful Festhaus looked. Even the draped cloth from the lights make it look German (a little festive, though). Why did those have to be removed? Now all we have are bland circular lights, a shell of the former self.

Crap I can't believe I missed this! I really wanted to go that year, but never got the chance to get out for it. I would've loved to have seen that show again!
