June 20, 200422 yr I have a Q, does any one know the eposoed of the Brady Bunch Family, when they filmed at Kings Island back in the day?
June 21, 200422 yr what do you need to know about it? I love watching that episode. I have yet though to see the Partridge Family KI episode.
June 22, 200422 yr I have seen both, the Brady episode is much better. It shows more of the park. The Partridge shows more of the hotel across the street.
June 22, 200422 yr The brady bunch episode was filmed in 1973, one year after the park opened. How i know this i cant remember but i search it once and found a lot about that episode. I have it recorded i just wish i could find it. The canoe ride is called shawnee landing which is where The Beast now stands. If you stay at the Kings Island resort they have an official copy of the episode at the front desk for you to watch if you ask. Now that i think about it, i think i got my info from that unifficial guide to KI that you can buy in like all of the gift shops.
June 22, 200422 yr Now the real question is, when the Bradys came to the park the only coaster was Racer. And the reason they came was because Mike had designed a coaster. Not long after The Beast came along. So can it be assumed that Mike Brady designed The Beast?! (j/k )
June 22, 200422 yr Author I just can't get the TVLand web site to work, to see the episode beause I've never seen it. My dad remebers it when the family was running around the park a passing the (NEW) design around and one of them ridding The Racer over and over.
