Flight of Fear Buliding Damage

Featured Replies

Wow. I'm not sure whether of not I like the RCT3 version of the first 2 rooms of the saucer better than our current ones!

I also like how they had the score to the ride on there! n_n

Yesterday on Flight of Fear I couldn't see any daylight... At 2 pm

i have been looking at it from AE and havent noticed any noticeable damage

The damage looks really bad as of Sunday. Almost as if the siding started peeling off and the insulation started coming out. Maybe we will see it fixed over September or the off season.

You can literally see metal siding hanging off the building and plywood underneath.

The location of the damage is the back right corner of the ride chamber... When viewed from The Express.

Also, something else striked me.

The ride was never coated in a rust-preventative coating, so if there was sunlight entering the building, it is safe to assume that it is susceptible to water, thus the track, mechanics, lights and more, are left unprotected.

Are you positive this is damage? I rode the Express on Friday and noticed nothing out of the norm.

I would love to see your source for this.

Some of us have actually worked inside that building every day, and trust me, the building itself isn't water proof; the track on the other hand has the same rust preventative measures as every other ride.

EDIT: The drum leaks water all over the place when it rains. The station however, is sealed.

There is some kinda small crane by FOF and AE. Possibly to repair damage?

I would love for you to read the rest of this thread, where you will find the aforementioned issue resolved.

Yesterday while I was in line for Firehawk I saw some people staring at something so I turned around and sur enough there were 2 men on the roof of Flight of Fear and one was lowering something down with a rope. They were on the roof of the building containing the UFO

I would love for everyone on this site to stop *****ing at each other.

But that is what the internet in general and forums in particular are for, isn't it? Trust me it's not just here. You want to see *****ing? I can provide you with the links to a couple of racing forums that make KIC look like a showplace for manners and civility.

I looked at it yesterday form AE. Yes, there is a little damage up along the corner. But I wouldnt worry to much about it.

Oh, I know there are much worse places on the internet. I also find a lot of the *****ing between members funny, but it has become a little ridiculous as of late.

I shall be going today, (Wednesday). I'd like to see this, also. It would be even neater to either see the workers, or better yet, see it fixed in such a snappy quick way.

I just came back from the park from today. Go on Adventure Express. after you go up the first lift hill. Look at Flight of Fear. then look down a bit. a BIG chunk of it just hanging there.
