Fearsome Foursome Challenge at KI

If Kings Island were to do the same thing as Cedar Point, which four coasters would be in the Ki's fearsome foursome challenge?

Diamondback,Firehawk or Invertigo,Vortex and The Beast.Those are the biggest coasters in the park.

PKI did that long ago. They had a Fear the Four shirt. I believe it featured Beast, Racer, Vortex and Flight of Fear. The shirt was hunter green, with coaster pictures screen printed on the back. I believe it also had a pocket, a true rarity for coaster attire.

The problem is, KI does not have a "feasrome four". Three at best, but I think Vortex is a stretch. Just not that kind of collection. But that's OK, Kings Island is just a different kind of park. There are only a handful of parks that would pull this off.

In 2009, I remember it being: Diamondback, Beast, Son of Beast, and Vortex. Then, when SOB was shut down, Firehawk was added in its place.

Yep, I remember when Son of Beast was in the four, I still have a shirt and cup that say "Fear The Four, Vortex, Son of Beast, The Beast, and Flight of Fear.

No doubt they would have advertised The Crypt as a ride in the fearsome four. After all, it WAS a favorite among park guests.

UGH! I just remembered something- during my 2009 visit to the park, Diamondback was NOT on the "Fear The Four" souvineer cup! There were 2 cups- 1 was the Diamondback cup. The other was the "Fear The Four" cup which had Beast, SOB, Firehawk, and Vortex...Diamondback was added in 2010 after Son of Beast was shut down.

You're right. Why, those ones are so popular that they haven't dispatched an empty "train" on those rides in years!
