malem
“Blast off” is a 185-foot ride that will accelerate thrill-seekers to the top of a tower in a way that simulates an actual NASA launch. What actual launches?
jcgoble3
"Ignite the Night"? For a nighttime show? Somehow, I doubt Cedar Fair will be amused by that.
The Interpreter
Apple and Cedar Fair both seemed to tolerate SFOG's iLuminate.
Titan
I never liked Darien Lake, but hopefully this renovation will help spruce the park up.
WOF Guy
"Ignite the Night"? For a nighttime show? Somehow, I doubt Cedar Fair will be amused by that. Herschend used that name for the nighttime show at Celebration City in 2008; four years prior to Luminosity. Why should Cedar Fair care if Herschend recycles its own name? jcgoble3
I was not aware of that. Interesting. So the question then becomes: what did Herschend think of Cedar Fair using the name?
Maverick00
It looks like more and more parks are going with a show similar to Luminosity. Maybe in 10 years every park will have a pop dance show and we'll know Cedar Point started it
kblanken
Isn't the pop dance show California Adventure had before Cedar Point pretty much that same concept?
The Interpreter
Yes. Perzactly.
