2004 PKI Calendar

Featured Replies

We just went and renewed our passes and an '04 calendar came with them. It says that PKI is closed every day this week but Friday. The calendar on their web site says they are open every day this week. I believe it also says they are only open until 9 during FF. Just wondering if anyone new which calendar is right.

Trust me, were open this week, every day until 8 pm. Saturday and Sunday is 10 pm and 9 pm (sunday).

how come it's only open until 8 on weekdays now?

school is back in session, which means there are more minor labor laws to follow now.

Why aren't they open daily through Labor Day anymore?? This always used to happen, and it still does at all other parks. For some reason this year they aren't open from 8/30 to 9/2, but they open for the Labor Day weekend. I only say this because I was in the Cincy area the other day (9/1) and felt like taking in an evening at the park. Low and behold it was closed. Booooooo.

School is back in and they don't have the staff to run the place.

We had enough trouble running the park on Saturdays this season, let alone a day where there are under 10,000 in the park ala TODAY.

Is there any particular reason the park is open for free admission on 9/10? It's not just a rumor, I got this from the official PKI website. Free admission on 9/10.

Y is this? Something special goin' on? Just curious.

Because none of the rides are open. They are having it open for a bunch of 9/11 Tribute stuff. They are going to have some food places open, but mostly just International Street. No reason to charge for no rides.
