Front Page Latest Posts Stuck

The latest posts on the front page only changes like every couple hours. This is something that just recently happened - it's getting annoying. Am I the only one with this problem?

From what I understood it showed every new post, from this I don't think so. I think it is a glitch or a bug that needs to be fixed ASAP.

Yeah, faeriewench's post in the random photo thread at 6:00 is still showing as the most recent post "1 minute ago". I'm pretty sure there's a bug here.

Bug's still there. The front page updated just two minutes before you posted that, but hasn't updated since as your post wasn't shown.

I believe, that since it is updated once again, it updates by the hour, not by the old by the post.

It's almost certainly a cache issue related to the WordPress upgrade. (i.e. the cache of the homepage content is being stored way too long, such that the recent post data becomes stale)

That's what is is, I installed a cache plugin to help save server usage over the weekend that catches content to display it quicker and be easier on the server. I have just uninstalled it as I too use the front page to scan for new posts.

Thanks. That same plug in was apparently causing the site to be very slow to respond at times, as well. Things are MUCH better now.
