TowerGuy Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 PKI posted new pics of Delirium during one of its tests. It looks like a really wild ride. Quote
aero11 Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 Do you think that picture was taken at full swing? I think it can go higher. Quote
TowerGuy Posted March 5, 2003 Author Posted March 5, 2003 I am not sure, it looks isane just the way it is, it would be crazier if it went higher. Quote
Beastfreak Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 That is approximately the full swing give or take a little. I had seen it test almost three weeks ago now and was hoping to get pictures to post on here. Unfortunetly everytime I go down there I don't see them testing it. Then I go inside and I'm sure they probably run it 20 times while I'm inside and stop as soon as I go outside. Quote
teenageninja Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 Now we know where most of the queue is going to be now. Hopefully it won't just be sitting by the path, that's asking for line jumping. Quote
CoasterKrazy Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 IE: Vortex. There's not one trip to Paramount's Kings Island where I go and someone doesn't cut in line. Quote
Scooby_Doo Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 (edited) Same here i always see Punks cutting in line there lucky i hate Violence! Edited January 1, 1970 by Scooby_Doo Quote
Losing Streak Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 Was there anybody from this site standing out at the drop off/ pick up area last friday? I drove in and almost got stuck in the snow, there were people standing there i guess waiting for it to test. Just curious if it was anyone from here. Quote
Scooby_Doo Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 Nope i wasnt there but there are some punks that go to pki that try to Ruin your Experince! Quote
pki_guy Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 I wont let people cut in line. For one thing I dislike standing in line so anyone that tries to cut in front of me will most likely get an ear full. If they dont like that they will have my foot in their bunghole. As Scooby Doo said "I dont like Violence". Neither do I but when I comes down to it ya gotta do something about it. Most times park security handles everything smoothly. They do a great job. Quote
Beastfreak Posted March 6, 2003 Posted March 6, 2003 I simply point to the sign, recite "Line Jumping is not a sport here at Paramount's Kings Island...." flash the ID and let them know they will be kicked out of the park. Usually works for me. Quote

PKICoasterFreek Posted March 6, 2003 Posted March 6, 2003 Man it's about time that they did something about that issue, I have been cut and had people get in and out of line infront of me soooo many time, i get soo mad and no one ever does any thing about it!!!! WELL Anyways,The pictures of Delirium are cool and I can't wait to ride it!!!! Quote
fyrfyter Posted March 6, 2003 Posted March 6, 2003 I think the pics were taken at full swing. I don't think it goes much higher than that. I would have liked a side pic, instead of one, from what looks to be Int'l Street. I also hate the line jumping, but most people aren't willing to cut in front of you, when you are pretty tall, and you can produce a badge fairly quickly. Quote
CYoung2003 Posted March 6, 2003 Posted March 6, 2003 i was waiting in line for beast 1 time and this dumb guy just bolts righ out in front of me so i have my gf hold my spot. well i confront the guy and he says im not gonna do s**t. well i had my id so i busted it out and flashed it to him, and he just laughed at me and said i still wasnt gonna do s**t. so i said ok, and i went over to the greeter position (which was empty at the time) and called security myself. i know i probably should have went to the station and told a ride op but i was ticked! aero11 Posted March 6, 2003 Posted March 6, 2003 Last year when I was in line for FOF there was a group of about 5 kids behind me and they saw a group of there friends just about to go into the space ship, so 3 out of the 5 jump the railing. As soon as they did it about 10 people in line start yelling at them but the kinds act like they dont hear them. Now the funny thing about all of this is the line that day was about 1 hr and 15 min and when the kids went to get on the ride the ride op's told them they could not ride and made them leave. Even after they cut they still had to wait about 1hr and they didnt even get to ride. Now that is funny. Quote
pki_guy Posted March 6, 2003 Posted March 6, 2003 Last summer I was in line for The Beast. It was the middle of July and it was really hot and humid, Around 9:30. We were in the second queue room and this guy can strolling past the people waiting in line. He said he had to go p and he was at the front of the line with his gf. He got up to this one guy right behind me and he was a biker guy(real big and mean with a big grey beard). The line jumper tried to push him out of the way. That was probably the biggest mistake of his life. The biker guy grabbed him by the throught and lifted him off the ground. I almost pooed myself when I saw he had the guy dangling a foot and a half off the ground. He carried the guy all the way back through the line by his neck. It turns out he had slapped his gf and left the line so he didnt get kicked out. The state troopers were waiting for him. Everyone cheered when this happened. I seroiusly almost passed out when when he picked him up by his neck. LOL Quote
