Diamondbacker27
Why does Valley Fair only have a couple of Roller Coasters, when other then Guega Lake *Spelling is off* all Cedar Fair parks have a lot more Thrill rides and Coasters. Do they have a Limited height they can reach? Or only a percent of land?
flightoffear1996
Likely because of a smaller customer base.
The Interpreter
And it is a smaller park. There are EIGHT coasters, though, including a Morgan hyper (perhaps the mildest), Excalibur-a unique experience, High Roller--once a very fine ride, Renegade--which is well regarded, a Mousey and on and on. They did remove Mild Thing, though.
BB1
I think I heard someone tell me Valley Fair was a Flagship park, BB1 cross threadin'. It has a hyper, it has miscellaneous woodies, a hybrid, and a arrow corker', seems like a great park in all honesty. Although I would think the same that it should get a few big ones being a CF park, but really in all honesty, the park looks like it is a small but great park for everyone. The Interpreter
It is one of my favorite Cedar Fair parks. Bigger does not necessarily mean better. I wonder...has Diamondbacker27, the original poster, been there?

jdawg1998
Likely because of a smaller customer base. I wouldn't say that. The Minneapolis-St Paul metro area has 3.4 million people, and Valleyfair isn't too far from a big tourist attraction, Mall of America. The Interpreter
FUN's former CEO attempted to sell the park. This may well have caused capital projects to be canceled or deferred.

PKIVortex
It is one of the of the parks that helped form the company Cedar Fair. Cedar from Cedar Point, and Fair from Valleyfair.
The Interpreter
And the former CEO was more than happy to offload it to save his bacon, if need be. Fortunately, no buyer could be found to pay the princely sum the company desired for the property.
