westcoaster
So found this great article today, and seems very interesting. Could some of these thoughts be used at Kings Island to make it a great park for all. I like the thought of a dark ride only at Kings Island, a winter event etc. What are your thoughts? http://www.themeparkinsider.com/flume/201308/3593/Have a great day:
TheCrypt
Great article, thanks for posting. The refurbishment of the log flume is really eye opening and I think it sets the tone for what Matt Ouimet will want for his parks in the future. Perhaps, and this is wishful thinking here, Boo Blasters will get a high-quality renovation soon.
Voicetek
I agree. I think KI needs an attraction that is exclusive to KI and only KI. As many of you already know, I would love a state of the art dark ride with excellent theming. Something that really stands out from the other Cedar Fair parks and is considered a "must ride" attraction that would draw guests to our park. I know we have some of that with our coasters, but so do many other parks. I'd really like to see something unique, and I don't feel like we have that yet.
upstop
I agree....all of the quaint atmosphere was destroyed...the first time I went to KBF was in 1979, when I went back in 2006 it was nothing more than a shell of it's former self. I was really disappointed with what the park had become.
