Labor Day Weekend Crowds

Featured Replies

Okay, I know it may seem like a n00b question but what are crowds like on this weekend? I know they'll be bad but just how bad? I've never been this late in the season and there's an extremely high chance of me going!

I went on Thursday and It wasn't really that bad I really didn't have to wait in line for flight deck or Adventure Express. Weekends will probably be busy since kids are back in school now.

Labor Day (Monday) will definitely have lighter crowds than Saturday or Sunday.

It's somewhat likely that I will be at an amusement park that day, but I have no idea which one. (Probably not KI, since I'll be there on the 8th for the KICentral birthday bash event.) Last year, I was at Holiday World, where all 3 woodies and both water coasters had minimal waits.

Alright, I figured Ohio kids would still be in school because their summer was extended due to making up snow days at the end of the year, I started back August 9. I guess I'll find out when I get there that Saturday!

I actually wouldn't expect huge crowds on Sunday. Many people in this area will be partying on the riverfront that day (for those who aren't locals, look up Riverfest...)
