Ride On_17 Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 When I went to KI I didn't notice a rough crowd at all. In fact, the family was surprised by the "normalness" of the people that were there. Maybe we just went on an off day, but hey, I'm not complaining. It sounds like usually the park is worse. Quote
YoungStud Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 I was very disappointed to see the metal detectors taken out. Quote
Kat Posted September 11, 2013 Author Posted September 11, 2013 Y'all are making me feel real safe about going jk. I'm not worried I guard my stuff big time, that's why before the locked bins at KI unless I had to leave it, I would take my bag with me on the ride Quote
PyroKinesis Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Remember, always secure your stuff in pockets with buttons! You may not feel a pickpocket, but you will feel someone fiddling around with a button! And some staples... and maybe some super glue as well... 1 Quote
Kat Posted September 11, 2013 Author Posted September 11, 2013 I never keep stuff in my pockets when I go to amusement parks. Pockets on women's jeans and shorts are more for decoration than holding stuff anyways it seems. Very small and shallow. Lol that's why our purses are so huge!!!! Quote
thedevariouseffect Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Ah...CP demographic from up north.. Yeah none of us like them, they cause lots of problems...they're not the worst though I can't mention the worst people and why without coming off as rude, even though what they CONSTANTLY do is just downright...yeah...stopping now before the rage face comes up 1 Quote
PyroKinesis Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Lol that's why our purses are so huge!!!! This is true. I'm not the tallest guy in the world, and I have seen some purses bigger than I am. 1 Quote
malem Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 ^ No. (The coffee pots at Donut Time have Starbucks brand coffee in them, if that's all you're after.) 1 Quote
PhantomTheater Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 They also have some of the fancier creations I believe. 1 Quote
Kat Posted September 25, 2013 Author Posted September 25, 2013 I just want some place that may sell a warm beverage should I get cold. I know at KI that's usually just Starbucks. Quote
PhantomTheater Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 If your not picky on the type of coffee, CP sets up many coffee and hot chocolate stands this time of year. 1 Quote
jcgoble3 Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 I'll have the hot chocolate (but not too hot). jcgoble3, never a coffee drinker 1 Quote
Ride On_17 Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 ^ No. (The coffee pots at Donut Time have Starbucks brand coffee in them, if that's all you're after.) You can get pretty much anything that regular Starbucks stores have. Lattes, Mochas, Hot Chocolates, Frappuccinos, you name it. 1 Quote
The Interpreter Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 And, like Starbucks, not an even half-way decent cup of tea in the house. Fancy-schmancy frou-frou crap. 4 Quote
Ride On_17 Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Something I found interesting (and was surprsised about) was that the prices for Starbucks drinks at Donut Time were less expensive than normal Starbucks. Everything else is so much more expensive at the park, yet for some odd reason Starbucks is cheaper. 1 Quote
thedevariouseffect Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Coffee is always good...but lately I've been waking up with RipIt drinks.. Best energy drink out there, and it's only a buck..win Quote
Kat Posted September 25, 2013 Author Posted September 25, 2013 Will CP fill up a 2012 KI souvenir cup with water? I hate how tiny the cups of water are that you get but don't want to pay for a souvenir cup that I won't be using again this season. Quote
thedevariouseffect Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Unfortunately I've tried this...however there are more easily accessible water fountains around the park than at KI... Buuuut with it being ride pride season, you may be able to bend their ear a bit 1 Quote
Kat Posted September 25, 2013 Author Posted September 25, 2013 Well that stinks, but one less thing to deal with at the same time lol Quote
Kat Posted September 25, 2013 Author Posted September 25, 2013 Edit: double post. Stupid phone. Quote
