thedevariouseffect Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 You can drive on it to cp however...but adds about 10 min to your drive. Plus it's only a two lane road, so getting to the point that way is a waste Quote
malem Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 The access to the amusement park via Cedar Point Rd is, of course, private property. "Closing" that to the public was presumably the neighborly thing to do, especially when those neighbors included the CEO. The road itself (outside the park) seems to be publicly maintained, and thus open to the public. Interestingly, though, Cedar Fair owns the strip of land that currently carries Cedar Point Rd from the mainland to the peninsula. That wasn't posted private as of the last time Google Street View was updated. Quote
The Interpreter Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Both ends are in fact posted. The mainland access isn't even marked. It is not publicly maintained. Quote
thedevariouseffect Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Eh...I've still taken it to get a great view of the point and to see some houses You know you have money when your house has a garage for your boat 4 Quote

upstop Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 If they were to give Coney Mall a Gemini Midway makeover, I would hope they would make it look more like old Coney Island and bring back those classic rides Cuddle Up and Lost River (with todays technology added)...Maybe even the Haunted House! 3 Quote
