Sad, Sad, Sad when you see a park drop to a waterpark.

Though I hate the idea of a waterpark instead of a coaster, and personally I don't see how PKI can do this another year. The New waterpark is nothing to complain fully about. I like the cavern slide and the racing slide. So its a little ok I guess. But i really wish they would at least get a new ride in the theme park. At least a new huss or something. Just adding to the waterpark is nothing you can get excited about.

Incrediable.

Some people will NEVER concieve good business practice.

Contary to popular belief, err, YOUR belief, Kings Island doesn't deem it a safe investement to put in a coaster every year.

Also, nothing you can get excited about? Maybe you aren't, but im thrilled! So please, speak for yourself in the future.

-Millions are being spent on a sophisticated water drainage system to make sure that when the water drains it swirls in a counter-clockwise motion. After all, the real Australia is below the equator.

This would be one really cool trick to have, but unfortuanltey not possible no matter how it is constructed, due to our position North of the equator. If toilets flush one way North of the equator, and flush the other way south of the equator, I wonder how they flush on the equator, or if they just explode!

Actually it can be done either a with jets to force the water the other way. Do this take a straw get water in it hold one end and put it over a funnel to go either way the water can go clockwise or counter clockwise whichever way you aim the straw. Id say if you had strong magnets it might work the same way to. The reason water does that is cause its closest to that magnetic pole so if you had a diffrent magnet right next to the water source it might reverse the water also.

Talk about killing a joke. Shaggy's original post was a reference to an episode of the Simpsons when they go to Australia.

Actually it wasn't a reference to the Simpsons.

I just knew that water drains in the opposite direction below the equator.

But none-the-less, it was a joke... and yes, the humor was killed ;-)

awww my bad guy's I thought you were being serious lol. GO SHAMPOO its gonna beat toothpaste!

Maybe now the park will sell Foster's. Hire some people to do the "beer.... Foster's... Australian for beer" commercial type things in the park. That would be funny. Maybe not.

It might be a Simpsons reference and it might not be. In the episode where they go to Austrialia the American Embassy has a drainage system so that water would drain as is did above the equator. As for the validity of the Coriolis effect causing the water to drain different directions at different places on the equator I advise you to go to http://www.snopes.com/science/coriolis.htm to see the truth.
