myklhicks
When my girlfriend and I got to the park I immediately signed up for the "Scream like a Banshee" contest and got "007." haha. We then went to Club Blood and was let in as soon as we got there. We then went to Wolf Pack, Slaughter House, Delta Delta Die, Board 2 Death, Urgent Scare, and Cavern Terror with zero wait time and did them all by 7:15. We then made our way over to Action Zone for the contest. I didn't win, but I did 129 Db and got a free shirt! After that we went over to Corn Stalkers and waited about ten minutes. Carnevil was our longest wait at about 15-20 minutes. It was worth it and I strongly advise the $1 3D glasses because they enhanced the trippiness. Especially in the tunnel. We then made our way to Holiday Horror and then Tombstone Terror-Tory. We completed all haunted attractions by 9 o'clock. Including the Banshee contest. After Terror-Tory, we rode Diamondback (front seat), we were on it in 15 minutes and then Vortex (5-1 for the first time and definitely not the last) we were on it in 10-15 minutes. We then headed over to Action Zone to take a swing on Delirium before Ed Alonzo's Psycho Circus (which was very funny and ruined Ed Alonzo's "The Max" character for my girlfriend due to the raunchiness. haha). After Ed Alonzo we rode Diamondback again (this time in row 15, amazing airtime). We went over to The Beast and half way through the line there were technical difficulties, we waited 15 minutes. We decided that we'd ride Vortex (in 5-1 again.haha.) and come back. While on The Vortex I saw that a train from The Beast was stuck a quarter way up the hill, so I'm not sure what happened. After Vortex it was 12:45, so after seeing The Beast stuck we decided to ride Flight of Fear (front row). We got the last train and ALL the lights were off, which was a new experience for me. We ended the night with Dippin' Dots. So overall good day! Plus my 10th trip this season, which is pretty good since I live two hours away! And I'll be adding at least 3 more trips this month! I'll leave you guys with a shot of Slingshot and Banshee I took from my phone.
calakapepe
It's a shame Sling Shot will ruin a clean photo op of the first drop. Glad you had a great time, all!
myklhicks
There are rumors of Slingshot being removed though since it can not be seen from any image renderings or video renderings. I hope it's true.

elyk
Why cant people just realize that we dont have to remove something every time we get a new ride... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
myklhicks
Again, Don is the PR. He needs to be a step ahead of us. I feel like if there were any rumors about anything he's going to turn them down until the last moment. Just like he did the day of the Banshee announcement, during the construction tour. When someone asked "Is anyone close to guessing what the ride is." and he said "Not even close." When we all saw the blueprints, knew the name, and knew it was inverted. jcgoble3
He also said that nobody was right about Banshee during the tour the day of the announcement. But 90% of us were. He was referring to our KIC nametags that malem created that had our guesses circled on them. He was indeed correct that nobody had all six items on the nametag (attraction type, name, manufacturer, model, height, and number of inversions) correct.

Someone find my post about all the fallacies I found in the renderings...I have no clue where it is after doing a search for it.. I can't believe this is still being brought up Again, my apologies. I was unaware that that had been pointed out before. I just noticed it recently.

thedevariouseffect
Because the renderings were to focus on KI's new roller coaster... Not the rest of the park..It wasn't a KI virtual reality

thedevariouseffect
Because again...focus was mainly on Banshee I didn't see AE, or DB, or Congo, or the parking lot, or Flight Deck either..

Skyflyer is probably there to provide a visual height comparison, as it's a similar height to Banshee. I think (but could be totally wrong) that the Slingshot towers are much shorter and thus probably weren't needed.

Were you one of the people that won a VIP pass on Banshee announcement day? The one with the fanny pack? Beacuse I was the first one to get one! I see, DB, Congo, and flight deck in the video, actually now that I'm rewatching it. Granted, I didn't see AE (probably because it's mostly in the woods), or the parking lot. Again, not trying to argue. Just pointing out what I see. DB Congo Flight Deck
thedevariouseffect
Nice catches Regardless...this was mainly for Banshee only...nothing else really was to truly matter...KI wasn't out to create a virtual park, just a model to show the ride where it sits and make a few POV's and pictures out of it
