DA RIPPER
I agree the walk ways are to narrow for a normal parade float. But consider this, down size the parade float to just a couple people on a float . pull by a John Deere cart , Kids don't care if the floats big, they just want to see a parade no matter how big the floats are. Pki already has the carts, a little work by decorating the carts pulled behind them and you got a parade.
Shman
That is exactley what they did for the parade for the 20th??? anniversary. The used cars from the old Sunshine Turnpike to pull small floats. BUT.......don't think that this stuff is going to be made from materials currently at the park, this parade is a touring special event that is being produced for Paramount Parks, everything in it is being made to travel from park to park. Scooby_Doo
I Like how Paramount is taking a Family Route but i have seen Pictures of Kings Islands Opening Day in 1972 they had a Parade with the HB Characters i seen pictures of Wilma and Betty Driving the Flintstones car and Fred,Barney,Dino leading the Parade with Scooby-Doo,QuickDraw Mcgraw,Yogi and Boo-boo,Snagglepuss,Huckleberry Hound following right behind them they were some cool Pics I know a lot of People think its Sad seeing HB leave the Park(s) and i know a lot of you Pefer HB to Nick but all i gotta say is dont fear HB is coming back thanks to The WB
coasterrz
It is a touring parade? How long will it be at the park and when? The main paths in the park aren`t really that narrow. Most of the walking paths are accesible by standard pickup trucks. In the offseason, maintenance vehicles often use the parks midways as roads to get around the park. Also, before the park opens in the morning they bring in water trucks to hose down the paths so that they`re clean for when the guests hit the park. Also, on an ACE walkback I`ve heard someone come on the radio and warn all park vehicles to be off of the paths because the park is about to open. I think that a parade will be a popular attraction at the park. I also think the new Hollywood style show that will be premiering in the Paramount Theater is also a step in the right direction as far as in park entertainment. PKI has been improving drastically the past few years. They are becoming a world class park focused on providing family fun and providing excellent service and attractions. Also they are starting to once again become a theme park and are slowly transforming into a movie park, similar to Disney and Universal. I think the next couple of years will be really exciting for the park. I just realized that I joined this website and forums a year ago today! TraderJake
Was Rocko the greatest show ever on Nick? In my view yes. Would Rocko's Modern Life Characters bring out a lot of nostalgia for the teenage guests? Oh yeah it would, I personally think that'd be sweet. Is Rocko's Modern Life currently popular with the youngsters of the current day? No, can't say that it is, how often does one actually see Rocko on Nick? Not very often. Because of the fact that Rocko is a tad bit out of the limelight I would say that we will proably never see a Rocko character at PKI, regardless of how cool that show was. dr4g0n5h4d0w
I definitely would love to see Rocko, Heffer, Filbert, and Mr. Bighead. They need to bring back some old Nick shows, like Rocko, Angry Beavers, and KABLAM!. KABLAM really only needs to have Promethius and Bob. I would love to see some older Nick shows. The ones I watched. I hate Spongebob, Rocket Power, The Thornberry's, etc. Does any body know the true reason Rocko isnt shown much anymore? I heard it was becuase it was too vulgur.
