Weekend before Super Bowl.

We do not know, but here are a few of my predictions:

Winter Blues Event:

-Banshee Tour, with another group having a tour for the Winter, I wouldn't be suprised.

-Kings Island Tour, not many people get to venture the park during the off season, so it would be a spectacular experience.

KIC Event:

-Somewhere to make the off season a tad bit shorter.

Other than that, I've got nothing.

During the DB construction, I was at the park at least once a week for KIC photos. This year I haven't had the type of time that I did in '08-'09. When opening day rolled around in 2009 I was excited, but I didn't have the anticipation that I had in other years. It was just another park visit. I kind of missed it.

So in a way, I'm glad it had panned out this way... at least for me.

I may be able to come, may not, the calendar is still in the works for that time period, but there's always a possibility of meeting up, if I'm not busy.

Though, I will ask this, how would you describe Magi Quest? I may do that this time around.

(BB1, a wizard, in a sense)

^ I think the best way to describe MagiQuest would be that it's like a fantasy role-playing game, but live-action.

EDIT: Yeah, it's mainly geared to preteens/teenagers, but adults can find it interesting as well depending on their tastes (especially if you're into role-playing games and the like).

Well, I primarily like Tolkien Middle Earth books, and this idea is interesting to have in the GWL. I may do this if I go. (Are Wizard hats included? ^_^ )

I'll probably be there if we do something that will last most (or all) of the day.

To refresh everyone's minds, rejected Holiday Party ideas included go-karting, EnterTrainment Junction, a FEC including laser tag and indoor trampoline bouncing, bowling, NMUSAF, and ice skating. I also like Duncan's idea of going downtown for a hockey game, though I'm usually not much a spectator sports person.

For those talking about GWL, it's rather expensive that weekend. The best promo rates, available through tomorrow, would be ~$60/person for Friday night:

Ok I say we pull a Clark W. Griswald and go marching thru the front gates BB guns in tow and demand rides on Banshee!! Wait its not finished yet. Man!! Sorry I retract everything I said Don it was all just a joke lol. On a serious note I would love to meet with you fellow KIC folk but on the 25th I'm heading to Monster Jam with my 13 year old son. Had to do the Vacation bit at least I found it funny :P

If there's a meet up, I definitely want to go. I haven't really gone to any before because I'm such an introvert. People often take my silence as me being a jerk.haha

People won't think you are a jerk if you are quiet. If they do like they did for my daughter and I, they will make you feel welcomed. Great group of people to meet up with.

Meeting up at Golden Corral might work for us. It was fun. The food at that location was pretty good as well.

If we did the Air Force museum as a group, perhaps people could carpool from Cincinnati/Mason (and Indy) to cut down on driving. A personal tour there is an opportunity that KIC won't have for a long time. (There's a Golden Corral nearby, according to Google maps, so ohiocolts should be happy.)

If we want to stay closer to the park, we might want to (again) consider EnterTrainment Junction. They have a "buy-one-get-one" offer in January, making the price $8 per person for an all-inclusive ticket. The miniature Coney Island recreation there really looks impressive, and playing in a funhouse is probably something that this group would enjoy. :)
