January 18, 201412 yr I'm kinda meh to this idea as well.. It'd offer nice views, but I don't want to see the monuments from above necessarily, I want to be there in front of them. The Vietnam Memorial is alot more humbling standing face to face with it than above IMO. I need to go back there sometime and go through it now as an enlisted member, between 8th grade and now, lots changed.
January 18, 201412 yr Oh then totally just meh..I just pulled it up, saw the title and kinda figured.. Why the Harbor? Thats...meh
January 18, 201412 yr meh [...] meh [...] Thats...meh Are you part sheep or something? Gotta agree with the "better to see everything up front and close" thought, though. The monuments in DC aren't anything that can be experienced from above. You have to be there. (I know the wheel isn't for DC, but he made a good point nonetheless.)
