GamesAndRides
Ferrari Land to be developed in SpainMaranello, 13th MarchPortAventura Entertainment S.A.U., a subsidiary of Investindustrial, has signed a licencing agreement with Ferrari to build Ferrari Land, a new Prancing Horse theme park, inside the PortAventura resort and theme park outside Barcelona in Spain. Ferrari Land will cover 75,000 square metres and include a variety of new and exciting attractions for Prancing Horse enthusiasts of all ages, including Europe’s highest and fastest vertical accelerator. An opportunity for the whole family to experience and discover the world of Ferrari. More good news is that the first Ferrari-themed hotel is also to be built inside PortAventura and will be a luxury five-star establishment with 250 rooms, restaurants and a driving simulator. The project will involve an overall investment of 100 million euro and the Ferrari theme park itself officially opens in 2016. PortAventura already welcomes 4,000,000 visitors a year, of whom 50% come from outside Spain.

McSalsa
Heres another picture: The Intamin (Or is it someone else copying Intamin?) Strata-Coaster suprises me...didn't think we'd see another one of those so soon. Alas, I was wrong...I'm wondering how big that thing is going to be...looks at least 350 feet. If it's bigger than Kingda Ka, then...mind blown. Anyhow, a Strata Coaster themed to Ferrari is a very good fit, since Race Cars have already been used for these with Top Thrill Dragster. Also, this is supposedly right next to Port Adventura, so if someone has tickets that get them into both parks, then they have access to some sweet-looking roller coasters with this, Shambahala, Dragon Khan, and Furious Baco, and more... rcwizard13
^It's more than next to Port Adventura. I believe this will be a part of Port Adventura.

bkroz
Oh good, someone is going to try the "theme park inside a theme park" thing again. Let the confusion ensue.
The Interpreter
Would that be like 1972's Coney Island inside Kings Island? Terp, who likes to ask questions.
bkroz
Kings Island's Coney Island probably could have stood on its own in the era!
