Boomerang Bay Attractions

You all might remember me creating a quiz about a year ago about PKI. Now it's a little outdated, so I'm going to tweak it just a little.

Boomerang Bay has an attraction called Crocodile Run. Is this the former Lazy River? And what about the Great Barrier Reef? Is this the former Wipeout Beach? I can't assume anything, so I'm sorry if these are dumb questions. I'm sure they made improvements to them, but they seem to be essentially the same thing. Please let me know about any other former WaterWorks attractions with new Boomerang Bay names.

With the weather here in Cincinnati, I`m sure BB will be crowded this weekend with Gold Pass Holders. With the temperature up in the mid 80`s and the heat index in the 90`s, it is pretty hot outside! And I`m sure that 78 degree water will feel pretty nice.

I was feeling that all day today at PKI while working. Hot, sticky, ............ gross!

The one complaint that I had, is in regards to the concrete. I do like how they broke up the sea of concrete with planters. However, it is still a long walk from the wave pool to the older side. The concrete is still quite hot. I know that Jeff had mentioned some sort of treatment was supposed to be placed on the concrete, but obviously it was never put down. I think if they were to put the stuff down on the concrete that they put down by the water fountain that says Boomerang Bay it might make the concrete more bareable. I know Jeff did mention on the tour in January that if they had time they were going to put a treatment on the concrete, so maybe they ran out of time.
