PKIVortex
I just read in the latest Kings Island newsletter that they will be offering a Dining Plan for all season for Season Pass holders. No prices were listed but it said to stop by any ticket window for more information.

shark6495
Six Flags offers something similar. $75 for all season with 1 lunch and 1 dinner meal per person.. https://www.sixflags.com/greatamerica/store/season-dining-pass They seem like a great deal, but you can always leave meals on the table.
Diamondback FOF
Seems like a pretty good deal if you visit regularly. An entree and one side twice per visit. Say it's $100, you'd need to get two meals on seven visits to come out ahead. Assuming the pricing isn't much higher, it's an awesome option!
Kat
Is that limited to just one dining place or any food place at the park? The Earth is the proper name of a planet, and thus should always be capitalized.
homestar92
This summer I will be working 10 minutes from the park... LaRosa's Pizza by the International Street fountains on my lunch break? Yes please!
shark6495
Is that limited to just one dining place or any food place at the park? The Earth is the proper name of a planet, and thus should always be capitalized. The Flags plan has a list of places and what you can get. For around that price, I could my family getting this in a few years when our son is a bit bigger and we go to the park more often. Wish they had this when I was 14-17 and had a season pass and would go 2 times per week all summer.
jdf21972
So the dining plan is $72 on a renewal pass and $84 on a new pass. The pass must be scanned at the entrance to activate the plan for the day. You can use it 2/day and have a 2 hour wait between meals. It's valid at most food locations in the park except for franchise stores (ie. Subway, Chick-fil-a) and Reds Hall of Fame Grille. Sounds like a great deal and valid all season long including the Haunt on Gold and Platinum passes. medford
Any more details (or directions to said details) would be appreciated. We attend pretty regularly, usually get a pretzel (or 4 for the family of 4) when we get to the park in the evening, around 5:30-6:00 then debate b/w eating in the park later in the evening around 8:30 or heading over to Chipotle to catch dinner there. If we could get a handful of pretzels (youngest daughter isn't two yet, so she won't have a pass this season, but we could split 3 pretzels 4 ways pretty easy) then hand around and catch some pizza for dinner, that would probably be a great value in the long run. For the 3 of us, that would be $216 total, we'd easily spend that much on food in the park thru the summer.
Diamondback FOF
$72 for a renewal pass...that comes down to 10 meals. Seems like a great deal if you eat in park
jdf21972
The dining plan is valid at all LaRosas locations in the park, Skyline, and other restaurants such as The Chicken Shack and Hanks Burrito Shack. You cannot use it at food cart locations, as for exact food you can get with the meal plan would be too extensive to list here because of all the different locations in the park. I would suggest guest services when you stop by the park for food list. Sent from my iPhone using Taptalk

gad198
Six Flags offers something similar. $75 for all season with 1 lunch and 1 dinner meal per person.. Assuming the prices mentioned earlier are correct I think Kings Island's version is leap years better than the Six Flags season dining pass. Six Flags version has windows when you can use the pass (lunch from 11-3:30, dinner 3:30 - close) so if you're stopping in for a few hours it's really unlikely that you're going to use more than one meal. I like the two hour wait between meals much better as it's much more flexible. Even on days with an 8 PM closing you can stop in at 5 in the evening and get another meal just before the park closes. Me likey!

jbum123
Has anyone seen any further information on this? I looked back through the News Letters and didn't see any mention of it. Diamondback FOF
I know someone previously stated that you can use the all season plan twice per day. While I'm sure this is true (or something similar to it), the handout from today says Enjoy an entree and a side every time you stop in at one of the participating restaurants all season-long! Two hour wait time between meals. $84 each or $72 for 4 or more No restaurant list is provided, or the $72 price for renewals. You can "see any ticket window or participating food locations for details."
showboat
My wife and I were at the park this evening. We purchased the season meal plan. It was $84 per season pass. We live near Kings Island so we plan to use it quite a bit. We do travel to Cedar Point a few times a year but, unfortunately, that park doesn't offer a similar plan so, if you have a platinum pass, it won't work there (bummer). The cashiers were a bit confused regarding what's included and what isn't. My big question was whether you got a drink with your meal. Long story short... our drinks were included (Festhaus). I think the jury is still out on whether we'll get drinks included next time...

Matfactor2
It is 72.99 if you buy 4 or more. If you buy only one it is 85ish. Subway, Chick fil a, and Panda Express are not included. Local franchises are though for example Skyline and Larosas. They have daily meal plans you can do which is 30 dollars and you can eat every 90 minutes and it includes drinks. Unlike the seasonal. Seasonal plan is 2 meals a day, the meals have to be at least two hours apart. Drinks are not included. It is a fantastic deal. I mean.... FANTASTIC. If you go to ki you go up to ticket box and sign up for the seasonal. Not everything has been specified yet but I think it'll get better as we go. Good job Kings Island!

jcgoble3
I bought the season plan today and used it at Hank's. The good part is that the cashier immediately knew what it was and how to process it (the plan is uploaded directly to your season pass, so all they have to do is scan the pass). However, the menu boards did not specify what was considered a side item (you get one entree and one side with each meal), so I was a bit confused on that point. I ended up not getting a side at all because the burritos are large enough to fill me up by themselves. Also, the cashier insisted on giving me the drink for free, even after I said that I thought the drink wasn't included. On a side note, there have been some major price changes, some more major than others. Soft drinks are now $3.99 for a small or $4.29 for a large. For the first time, Coca-Cola Freestyle drinks are available in both sizes (they were small only in 2012 and large only in 2013), and are also the same price as non-Freestyle soft drinks (previously they cost 20 to 30 cents more). Also, entree items at Hank's have jumped from $7.59 to $10.59 (they are advertised on the menu as $14.59 for a combo with a drink, but the entree item can be purchased solo). If there are similar large increases across the park (I didn't check), then it seems that they have changed the pricing model from "charge what season pass holders can afford to pay on a regular basis" to "charge what the one-day visitors can afford to pay on a splurge trip and offer a discounted season-long plan to ease the burden on pass holders". Which is not necessarily a bad thing.
homestar92
Since an order of Nachos and queso at Hank's is typically enough for me, I did not buy the meal plan yet. I just ate the $5 that it cost me just to avoid the line. I will soon, but the lines at the ticket window were absolutely absurd. Also, I think the nachos and queso probably counts as a side and not an entree. Since I typically get that for a meal (with chicken added to it) due to its affordability and being enough to fill me up, it looks as if this year, I dine like a king. This is slightly off topic, but while we're on the subject of price changes, were the lockers $1 an hour last year? I seem to remember them being more.
jcgoble3
Yes, they were $1 an hour last year. The season dining plan can also be purchased at Guest Services. That's where I bought mine (speaking of which, I still need to pay ohiocolts's mom back for it) with very little wait.
