pki_rulz
No where does it say that a park is supposed to provide benefits with a season pass. Most parks don't provide benefits, or at least to the degree PKI does. You need to realize that there are SO MANY other benefits with your season pass then just Friday night. As far as there were more than those just on here upset, well I will agree. There were other, not many though. As I was talking to many guest, most of them were very understanding. All I am saying is please realize that Preview night has always been the way it was this year. There have always been tickets handed out for it. No other year has it got as packed as this year but it has been somewhat busy before. There are 6 more months of PKI experinces for you. So dont get you pants in a tissy over this one problem. Everyone needs to be more understanding in my eyes.
GreenGhost2003
i was kinda ****ed but hey i understand i have all summer...i didnt like the idea of the Radio stations and the tv crews thats what ****ed me off!
DragonLord
Alright, time for my two cents... The park was anticipating high attendance, although I don't think anyone expected as many as we got. There aren't that many "free" tickets out in the world like some people are trying to make it sound. Yes, employees did get 4 free tickets to give out, however, not all employees got them. Radio stations did not receive hundreds of tickets. only a few stations received a hand full of tickets to give out. The majority of the people in the park on Friday were pass holders. If you guys have a complaint that is what Guest Relations is for. No one here wants to hear you complain about how busy the park is. If your complaining now, then have the common sense to not stop by the park on Bring a Friend Free Day, big concert days, holiday weekends, or any weekend for that matter. The lines might be too long for you. Oh, and those with a Gold Pass let me remind you: YOU DON'T OWN THE PARK.
Losing Streak
When you advertise it as pass preview night... My argument is not worth my time. Anywho. I will have the distinct pleasure of working BAFFD on friday. So... that means I don't care.

bingog34
For people saying passholders have lots of benefits: White passholders don't have many benefits. Only Gold passholders do. I hate the way the park gives Gold passes free. What's up with that?
Losing Streak
It's how they get people to buy them at the beginning of the year. Its just a sales pitch, like 0% financing.
CYoung2003
u know people, you cant always get what you want ok. u say that its not fair that pki did what they did, well life is not fair! rides break down (both of mine did), it happens espically coming straight out of the off-season, GET OVER IT! passholders: you will have your night, dont worry about it! i mean you got advantages over anyone else, you get bring a friend free days (which i should warn you are PACKED!), you get double ride tuesdays and you also get discounts, so if i were you, i would suck it up, AND STOP CRYING ABOUT IT! Tanner
I don't know if this has been mentioned before, because I really haven't read anyones posts. You guys say you have all been deceived and lied to about passholder night. Well unless you live in a box and only visit this site, with no TV or Radio you really wouldn't have known that the Radio and TV Stations were giving away tickets too. But since I hope all you guys do do other things, I'll say it's really your own fault. My friends uncle at school got free tickets for working at a radio station, I told the kid not to go because it would be packed; and today all I hear about is how much PKI sucks. It's not like you guys didn't know what was going on! Edited January 1, 1970 by Tanner

fyrfyter
If it was really true that the majority of people there on Friday night were season pass holders, then why wasn't Gold Pass PArking Filled, early? I got there a little after 6 p.m. and over half of the Gold Pass Parking area was still open for pass holders. Those that have already purchased 2003 passes, have Gold right? I think that the radio stations and such got way more tickets than anyone thinks. I also think that if PKI si going to sue the word exclusive on their site, then it had better be just that. Also, I sent an email to PKI Guest Relations about my disappointment on Friday night, and the park being packed. Lets see if they have enough guts to reply to it. fyrfyter
Just got this reply from PKI about Friday night. Thought oyu all would like to see it, when I questioned the exclusiveness of the evening. here ya go !!!! I'm willing to stick it out, and hopefully things will be better next time. Dear Mr. (changed to protect me): Thank you for writing us here at Paramount's Kings Island. We always appreciate hearing from our guests. I would like to apologize that your visit with us on Sneak Preview Night was less than expected. It was an error on our part in listing the evening as season pass exclusive. We sincerely apologize for the miscommunication, it certainly was not our intent to mislead our valuable season passholders. Normally combining the sneak preview event with season pass sneak preview would not have been an issue, however, the extraordinarily good weather we experienced Friday evening caused a large number of individuals that normally would not have made the trip to the park to decide to take advantage of the evening. Please rest assured that we have discussed the events of Friday night to ensure that this situation does not occur in the future. Again I apologize for your experience. Thank you for your comments and we hope that your next visit to Paramount's Kings Island is fun filled and exciting. Sincerely, Taryn Weber Operations Manager, Guest Relations Paramount's Kings Island taryn.weber@paramountparks.com

First of all I still stick to what I said earlier, BUT the qoute I have included is bullcrap. You give out all those tickets people are gonna show up. They blame the weather? That's sad. Alot of people go to Kings Island by winning tickets and that's it. They'll be there rain or shine. But seriously, don't blame the weather. However I didn't go, but it is nice to hear that they are doing something about it.
