May 3rd Report

This was my actuall good day out riding rides, so here's the report.

6:00 a.m. } arrive at work. I have the early shift but always come early to avoid traffic coming from KY.

9:45 a.m. } Clock in....Schedule says.....Im doing a birthing! I feel really privleged since these normally go to sups or lead escorts. I get to "birth" Patrick Star! My walks are Patrick and Tommy.

2:15-3:15 p.m.} MMMMM Mini Corn Dogs at Oscars!

6:30 p.m.} Clock out.

Well The birthing of Patrick was great! I never had so much fun on walks as an escort. For a new guy he has alot of spunk andreminds me of a young me....lol.....jk.

7:00 p.m. } Head to AZ getting some rides in!

From here out it's a bit shaky on what tiems everything was so I'll just go in order.

WOW, I forgot how cool this ride really is, specially in the front seat, at dusk. Great Crew working too, very nice and even offered an " elusive " seconed ride, I didn't accept, I needed to get as much in tonite as I could.

Not a bad wait. All together one of my better rides on this beast. My on ride photo sucked tho....I always wince at that part.

Might as well have been a walk on! great as usually, better at night!

Headed over to Oktoberfest.

Great ride back seat just as good as its original, night rides are the best.

Needed a drink and being the employee I am, I decicded to get me a remix at our " machines " by the security gate.

Got to meet SHman. that was cool. never even suspected him. Great guy.

Went back in the park, Headed for FoF, I had a mission.

Met Stxbomber, I think I caught him by surprise!, He never expected me.....Im just good like that.

Decided to hit up recaR and get some rounds in at Blade of Honor. i Love that game.

Great airtime. We were racing, so cool. I love to race on The Racers.....hmm I guess why they call it that.

Went back to my Break room and took some night shots of the park, will be posted soon, along with my new character shots. Keep looking, I hope to get a decent amount of park pics for you guys.

Stayed to see the 10:00 fireworks.

The season for me is now begun, I sat on my roof, in the employee parking lot, in a sleeping bag, reminiscing of when I was four sitting on the roof of the old station wagon, watching the sky light up. I guess thats what the park is all about anyway.

Do you just escort the costumed characters around or do you still dress up??

I remember when I was around 13-15, ( hard to believe that was almost 8 years ago..) I wanted to get a job at SFKK as a costumed character, but for some reason I never did. I can only imagine the heat inside during the hot summer days...

Nice report, and it was nice to meet you! And I didn't expect to see you! I thought I had seen you before, but I knew it was you as soon as you said, "You would have liked entertainment better." lol.

I have made a decision about the whole entertainment vs rides battle for me. Rides this year (of course), then work Fear Fest, and use that to determine where I work next year.

Oh well, once again, great to meet you, even though I was semi-mezmorized from watching Zephyr go around and around and around.....

Sorry, got a little hypnotized, lol. I just hate it when some person interrupts the spinning by twisting, holding on, etc.
