I actually think this looks kind of interesting. Given your (apt) description of the ride I thought the overall reception would be worse than it is. Most on other forums see pretty excited. I'm not one for spinners but I did catch myself smiling watching the ride animation.

Where in the park are they placing it?

EDIT: Nevermind. I found it'll be located at the far end of the park by their Whip ride in the Midway America section.

Its a great looking ride.

Saw the video of this in action over at Coasterbuzz. This looks like a very fun ride that can be shared by families. I'm beginning to look for those kinds of rides when I think of going to any park.
