Ride opening times

Featured Replies

Do all rides open with the park? Or some later? I want to do FOF first since I heard it has long waits.

True story. Any time I've ever planned on riding FoF it is my first stop at opening, after ERT.

Yes, barring mechanical breakdown or inclement weather (including high winds), all rides are open from park opening to park closing. The only exceptions are The Beast, which on 10pm closings must close temporarily at 9:45pm to accommodate the fireworks show (it re-opens after the fireworks for those who were in line by 10pm), and the Blue Racer typically opens a couple hours late and closes a couple hours early (or on very slow days it may not open at all). Red Racer, on the other hand, opens and closes with the park.

I don't know how consistent this is, but I've always seen Firehawk open a little bit later than the rest of the park on about every visit. WindSeeker might be another.

Firehawk nominally opens with the park, but from my understanding it has more complex morning testing procedures than most other rides, and so it does not always complete testing by scheduled opening. However, if it is ready when the park opens, it will open with the park. I've made a beeline to Firehawk at rope drop and ridden immediately several times.
