Today I rode Slingshot for the first time

I find this contraption to be boring, but I'm glad you had fun! :)

At 0:53, it takes a true Star Wars geek to spontaneously say Y-wing instead of X-wing. :D And the TIE fighter sounds were cool! I never thought of pretending that those handles were fighter yokes. :)

This is somewhat off-topic, but am I the only one here for whom YouTube videos are not rendering, instead seeing only a black frame?

I've never had that problem, so it's probably just you. Hard to say what could be causing that though. Sounds like the video itself isn't loading.

This reminds me of when ohiocolts and I rode Sling Shot on Closing Day in 2012. I would've loved to see the video of our ride, but the camera wasn't working.

Glad you enjoyed your ride! :) It looked really fun.

I resolved the issue. It was happening for ALL video (Flash or HTML5) in Chrome. A Chrome update did not fix it. A graphics card update did.

Believe it or not, this will be one of those life moments that you will cherish.

Glad you were able to get it on video.

I would make TARDIS sounds and make the Dr. Who theme.......but hey, I'm a self professed Whovian. It looked like you had fun, and that it was an exciting ride!
