Banshee down more than most B&M coasters?

Featured Replies

I have only seen it down 1 time and it was down for about 20-30 mins?

I've seen it go down a few times. Fortunately, it's usually just a matter of cycling it a few times and reopening. Probably just computer stuff.

Yea I'm not sure what the deal with it the one and only time I saw it down. They closed the line etc. but after eating and riding two times on The Bat it was reopened no harm no foul

There are sensors on top of sensors for the new B&M coasters. If they detect a potential problem, they warn the driver. This causes for more false alarms than anything, but it also yields a safer ride experience.

I was watching the Utah/Michigan football game on TV Saturday and as it was raining, the announcers said that there was severe storms moving into the area within 20 minutes and if lightning was reported within 8 miles, they officials would clear the stadium and have everyone seek shelter. Within minutes, they cleared the stadium and the heavens opened up.
