October 2, 201411 yr In today's Toledo Blade.... http://www.toledoblade.com/Retail/2014/10/02/Coaster-painters-have-close-brush-with-Rougarou.html
October 2, 201411 yr Cool article. I guess someone has to be professional roller coaster painters. Not a bad job.
October 2, 201411 yr Don't you mean Rougarou? Or is it Mantis? King James Coaster? My head hurts. (Someone had to pull it and beat Terp to the punch) Cool article, interesting bits about painting it. It should be noted that this is the same company that did The Bat.

I am correct - It is still Mantis, therefore "work begins on Mantis' transformation" - in order to make it Rougarou.
October 2, 201411 yr Author So you do not stand corrected... True - I don't. Matter of fact, I feel as if someone is pulling the floor out from under me!
October 3, 201411 yr In case anyone hasn't seen it in the Random Photo of The Day thread, here is a picture of just how wonderful the new paint job is. The orange looks outstanding and even pops out at night. I caught myself staring at it for quite some time actually! Great job by the painters!
October 6, 201411 yr I'm really digging the new color scheme. That's a great looking coaster. Once they change to floorless, it will be much more fun to ride.
October 6, 201411 yr Wow! This has got to look even better in person. An unexpected combination, but I'm a big fan! Almost a pinkish orange with those nice teal supports. Very cool. I hope it's not a flat, standard orange in person and keeps the cool sunset look seen here.
October 10, 201411 yr I like the colors, but they look too generic to me. I liked the multi-colored paint scheme better.
