Hello all!

I was wondering if anyone has had an experience with weddings at the Moonlite Gardens.I haven't been able to find any reviews about it, so I thought asking here might work.

I found some pictures of weddings there and they look beautiful. We're trying to decide right now between Ault Park, Moonlite, or Music Hall. Just trying to make a more educated decision.

Thanks so much for any opinions or information!

It is a large venue, so unless you plan on having a lot of guests at your wedding, it's likely more space than you would need. My experience with a wedding there was that the venue itself was nice, but that its sheer size prohibited the guests from mingling with each other. The dance floor is so big, it serves as a physical barrier between the two sides of the room where tables are located.

I was actually at a wedding reception there.

You may know them Deb Haas and Eddie Fingers of WLW.

It was excellent and Coney did an awesome job.

However, you would need an extremely large crowd or it will seem empty.

It is a rather expensive venue. But it does provide some unique photo ops. I personally have escorted a wedding party around to several rides so that they could take wedding pictures on some of the rides, including the Carousel and Ferris Wheel.

Some people only have their reception at Coney, while some people have both the ceremony and the reception at Coney`s Moonlite Gardens. As others have said, Moonlite Gardens is a rather big place. The one drawback is that the dance floor is open air. So if you have rain on your wedding day/night, the dance floor will also get a little wet.

There have been tons of weddings in the last two seasons at Moonlite Gardens.  Almost every Saturday this past year in July and August there were weddings/wedding receptions at Moonlite Gardens.
