Little Glitches....not a serious complaint thread :)

What little glitches are you noticing? NOTHING SERIOUS. This is just a light-hearted topic.

I always have fun at Kings Island, but these are some of the things I noticed on Friday/Saturday.

1. Ice Scream Zone....all of their Coke had been "mixed" incorrectly. It tasted like cleaning fluid. When I took my drink back, I was told that they weren't even supposed to be selling Coke at their location.

2. Flight of Fear....still can't catapult while Drop Tower is going up. While waiting in my seat, I had a worker squat down and actually tell me the full story.

3. Those poor young crew members at Skyline. They were running the cash registers and had no clue what they were doing. Since they were wearing yellow name badges, I presumed they were 14-15 years of age. I really felt sorry for them.

4. Diamond Back was running...then it wasn't...then it was...then in wasn't..... You get the picture. And the girl in the booth could not get her microphone to work properly. Another crew member stood at the door to the booth as the go-between for her and the ride crew.

5. The Chicken Shack didn't have the 2015 souvenir cups.

It was the employees real first day, and a very busy park!

The only thing I want to mention is, ride Blue Racer if you want to win! At least that was the case on Saturday!

I'm curious about the "full story" as well.

I'm not an electrician so this is pure speculation, but I'm betting it has to do with the power draw for the Flight of Fear launch combined with the power draw for Drop Tower going up being too much draw for the 'grid' in that part of the park.

The digital map/kiosks haven't been updated. Space Buggies and Gliders aren't on it.
