I'm brand new around here. I haven't been back to Kings Island since the debut of Son of Beast!! This has been a long time coming for sure.

 

Anyways, I am rounding up a group of ~20 people (a few are undecided) for a trip this Labor Day Sunday (Sept 6).  I was wondering if there were any deals or coupons for group ticket purchases, including Fast Lane passes for everyone.

 

All I have found so far is the "Group Sales", One Day Celebration package where standard admission tickets are $37/person for groups of 15+. This is essentially the same as buying the admission and fastlane combo of $110 for everyone individually.  (https://www.visitkingsisland.com/groups15/celebrations)

 

Am I overlooking any opportunities to save money??

Call the park 513-754-5700. Ask to talk to group sales. One of their salespeople will be able to hook you up with the best possible offer.

I'm back and just wanted to report what I learned from my most recent purchase!

 

I ended up buying 19 tickets and 13 Fast Lane plus passes.  Here are some findings and tips I have to share...

 

If you purchase as a group of 15+ via group sales they will throw in a "Comp Ticket" seemingly every 15 or 20 tickets booked.  So I ended up only paying for 18 tickets as our 19th was a "comp" one.

 

For Fast Lane Plus Passes.  I actually had to purchase in two increments because the most you can put in a shopping cart and in one purchase is 10.  Make sure to play around with the quantities of each puchase.  What I noticed was if you by 4 or more the price per Fast Lane pass (on Sept 6) drops to $70, as opposed to the original $80 single. So I ended up paying for a first purchase of 9 Fast Lane passes and a second purchase of 4.

 

The total damage ended up being somewhere around ~$1650.
