So Days of Thunder lasted 1994-1999?

Nope, Days of Thunder operated 1994 -1997. James Bond 1998 -2000. 7th Portal 2001-2002. Spongebob 2003 -2010. They were other shows that would often run on the other side. Days of Thunder made a return at one point but didn't stay open long.

All this talk about Action Theater history compelled me to do a ravenous online search.  I think this is one of my favorite KI commercials.

 

 

But to think that Spongebob was thwarted for the Dinosaurs Alive! film that lasted for so little time just makes me a bit upset.  But alas, I know it had to leave eventually.

^ I always thought it was ridiculous how they showed the screens behind the moving seats also.  Like come on, there's not screens in the front AND in the back.  Quit trying to trick us!

I loved Days of Thunder and I'm not a NASCAR fan at all. 7th Portal was very fun also. The rest were meh to me. As fun as DoT was, I'm pretty sure it'd seem really dated if it were still around.

If I'm not mistaken it was slightly dated when it came out? I mean DoT came out in 90 so the movie was already 3-4 years old when the ride debuted?

And I really loved that ride and am still a huge NASCAR fan to this day.
