Interesting, seems like a "he said, she said" type of situation on this one. Either way though, thoughts and prayers for a successful recovery for the child.

I can't imagine what that family is going through right now, how tragic. I will say it is a pretty bad move by their social media to post that response. No apology, no thoughts to the family, just, "hey this has never happened here, we're all about family fun." That's just pretty sickening.

I'm sure some cctv will solve the issue here. If the family keeps it up and the boy is found at fault, I'm sure the park might be taking them to court for tarnishing their reputation as a safe place. Just saying be careful what you say; and where.

I've ridden that flume before. Its boats and track are pretty typical log flume fare, which makes me wonder what he was doing during the ride. That account wasn't especially clear and makes it sound like he was being dragged by the boat, with no employees bothering to stop the ride even after noticing. I am interested to know what any investigations uncover.

At any rate, he is certainly in my prayers.
