RollerNut Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Didn't this happen at another park over the summer? Quote
BB1 Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Didn't this happen at another park over the summer?A few summers ago, on a WindSeeker at Knott's Berry Farm. Riders were stuck at the top for a while, it was also the same incident that led to the new yellow evac systems for various WindSeeker installations. 2 Quote
The Interpreter Posted December 21, 2015 Author Posted December 21, 2015 A while? That's a tremendous understatement. 2 Quote
RollerNut Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I want to say it happened at Six Flags Great America Quote

SFGAm Shock Wave Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 To call what happened on SeaWorld's Sky Tower Monday an evacuation is misleading. They were up there a long time, but they got the cabin back down before unloading. An evac, by my definition anyway would involve exiting the cabin when it is still off the ground (like what happened when I was on Sky Trek Tower at Six Flags Great America last June).Though looking closer, I see that this topic was likely posted during the event, and that basket certainly had me thinking an evac was coming. The Interpreter Posted December 23, 2015 Author Posted December 23, 2015 It wasn't yesterday, to start with... EDIT: He edited. Quote

SFGAm Shock Wave Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 It wasn't yesterday, to start with... Oops. See, this is what happens when none of the TV shows are new, all days seem the same. 1 Quote
Cdeq Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 People got stuck on the SkyTower in San Diego. Pretty sure that time they were able to bring them down. Quote
