Topping Off of Valraven

Featured Replies

Very interesting.  I did notice at the end it said it will accommodate 1,200 riders per hour.  I have to wonder how close it will come to this amount.  Anyone care to venture a guess?

its a new "signature" ride at Cedar Point , they will make SURE it hits 1200pph, no matter how many power hours it takes, and regardless of guest comfort/experience/safety.

Sparky, still not (and never will be) a fan of divers or power hours.

I'm surprised that they're going with the 8-row trains, and I wonder why.

Griffon's are 10.

24 riders vs. 30. That's a substantial difference.

Valravn's trains are using the vest restraints, and I imagine ten seats with those restraints would be too wide.

SheiKra at BGT has 3 rows of 8 seats. I would imagine that the seat number/width of the train would impact space needed for elements while working with the limitations of the space available.

Bkroz, I forgot to add something about capacity. The biggest challenge I forsee will be the guests themselves. I think the station design/row staging, assigned seating, and loose articles will play a bigger part in capacity than 6 seats.
