The video is well worth watching for an inside look at the Kings Island greenhouses. The cactus is particularly interesting.

I knew about the greenhouses.  No idea that they were the first thing that was built.  Also do not think I have ever seen the inside of them before.  I do enjoy looking at the work they do around the park.  I wish the park would do more with the gardens next to the Eiffel Tower, add more topiaries, flowers, and a few additional park benches.  Plus only make a small corner for smokers.  It would be a fantastic place to get away from the bustle of the rest of the park.  It could be so much more.

 

I will add many park guests have seen the greenhouses from inside the park.  They are easily visible from the Eiffel Tower.  Also you are looking straight at them when you get to the top of the lift hill on The Bat.

People look at many things that they do not actually see...thus the old saw "If it'd been a snake, it'd bit ya'."

I have always admired the Kings Island clock and I always love seeing it each and every time I walk into the park.
