Cirque Imagine @ KI vs Cirque Imagine at KD

This is worth your time.

 

Check out the version of Cirque Imagine that was performed at Kings Dominion in 2015.  Skip ahead to the 5:00 mark if you want a groan (you'll know what I'm talking about when you see it).  

 

This show is very distinctly different from Kings Island's.  Which one do you think is better?  Why?  Which segments do you prefer from each one?

Obviously not the tower. The one time I saw Skeleton Crew at KI, during a Haunt meetup, the tower scene had to be abandoned because of a malfunctioning safety harness. At the time, I was disappointed. Now, I'm glad it got dropped from that showing.

 

I vastly prefer the... I don't know what to call it but the thing that replaces the trampoline segment from the KI show. This is much better because it has more variety. The trampoline segment was the one part of KI's Cirque Imagine that I wished could go away, because it was overly repetitive and lasted far too long. That said, in this video, I don't understand why all four of the clowns in red are on stage during part of that segment; shouldn't one be backstage, having gone through the hole in search of the princess? At least KI's trampoline segment got that detail right.

Well the clown coming out on the tri-cycle at KD without the Trevor bike act before it doesn't make any sense lol.

 

I disagree with above regarding tramp wall.  I think the tramp wall was better than the act KD had to replace it.  The tramp wall is what made our version I believe superior than the version that was at Canada prior to KI and what was at KD.

 

I have seen lots of tramp wall acts and what we had was awesome and superior.  The two-wall segment just really isn't seen elsewhere.  Lot's of acts have had a tramp wall similar to what we have in Origins.

 

Personally I think our version of Imagine was superior in every act.
