Uh-Oh. Here is some bad news out of Indiana Beach- a ride mechanic was apparently hit by a ride train while working on Cornball Express, I assume it was the same ride that hit him. He survived but is badly injured.

Hopefully this guy makes a full recovery.

Hopefully he is ok and able to recover.  I wonder exactly what happened.  Ie, was something not done according to procedure, if he was hit by a train.

 

I`m sure this will have an impact on the crew at Indiana Beach.  I know Coney`s four rides mechanics fairly well. I would be saddened if something serious like this ever happened to them at Coney.

Prayers, its always sad to see somebody hurt while doing something they love. I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery! 

electricsun and I were at the park when this happened. We rode it about 1/2 hr to an hour before this happened. We did not see any of the incident, but Cornball and Hoosier Hurricane were down the rest of the day (or at least when we left around 4:30.) Not sure about the rest of the weekend.

A coworker was at the park all weekend. CB and HH were back up on Sunday according to my source.
