pianoman
Hi everyone. I am trying to remember all of the movie themes that would play on International Street during the Paramount era. I already have several that I remember hearing. If you remember one that you don't see on this list, please feel free to share it. Here are the ones I have figured out already. Parade of Charioteers Lawrence of Arabia Top Gun Mission Impossible Ghost Theme Romeo and Juliet A Summer Place St. Elmo's Fire The Champ Theme The Naked Gun Two and a Half Theme James Bond Theme Indiana Jones Theme Titanic Theme

pianoman
Thank you. I always thought that this gave the park a more majestic feel to it. Now its Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez blasting over the speakers.
malem
KI played instrumental music on International Street during Christmas in July this past summer. Since some of the songs weren't identifiable as Christmas music, it almost felt like old times. One of my favorite parts about visiting Kings Dominion last summer was majestic music still playing on International Street. The atmosphere there reminded me a lot of KI in the 90s.

I agree, I loved working/being in the park during Christmas in July just because of the instrumental music. Though I did enjoy it and would love for it to make a return to I-Street, I also don't mind some of the songs on the playlist, especially some of the newer songs, including Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco and Zayn. pianoman
I forgot about Star Wars. And I'm pretty sure they played the Superman theme as well.
pianoman
One of my best memories as a kid is sitting on International Street eating LaRosa's pizza and watching the fountains while listening to all of the movie themes.

Those songs you didn't identify as X-mas music were, in fact, that.

This is great! I'm listening to these on YouTube and it is bringing back so many memories. The last year these were played in the park was 2006. Once Cedar Fair bought the park, all of this magical feel disappeared.

goettablitz
I have been listening to some of the songs posted above and I don't think I have heard some of them since Cedar Fair bought KI. I'll tell ya though they are taking me right back to international street in the 90s and early 2000s. Amazing!
BlondyRidesOn
I remember when they played the theme to The Naked Gun (AKA the Police Squad theme) by Ira Newborn.
