BoddaH1994
Non-orca park. What are your thoughts on this?
King Ding Dong
I hope the company the best on its current path so the orcas have a benefactor for their remaining years. I fear a "The End of Seaworld is 'very near' " thread soon after 2019. Never been to SeaWorld and not sure I could enjoy a orca show after watch Blackfish. But I have always been somewhat conflicted even visiting a zoo.
RollerNut
Non-orca park. What are your thoughts on this? I am not surprised, the public has been hassling SeaWorld for decades about the Orcas. However I will toss out an alternative idea to keep Orcas but this idea is probably super expensive and would require huge amounts of land. How do you feel about an Orca exhibit that would mimic their natural habitat similar to what large zoos do with Bison and other large animals from around the world? Again, my idea would require a huge amount of land and require a even larger budget so it is very unlikely to ever happen but what if it did? Tanna
I would've liked to have gone, but pretty much accepted the idea that it's probably not going happen. I've been working so much lately, I haven't even been able to think about theme parks, much less read about them. I don't mind Seaworld doing whatever anymore, as long as they keep the rehab part, and sea creatures are all over the world, even Dubai. I'd like to think if an orca needed saved, Seaworld would be able to help without a diesel boatload of loudmouths showing up protesting to let the whale die.
