The Swamp At Kings Island?

I just got a notification from YouTube with Kings Island releasing a teaser for something called “The Swamp” I’m assuming this is a attraction at Haunt, but this is the first time I’m hearing of it!

It's not a teaser for anything. Just an ad they use for Haunt.  No relation to a maze, just like this one:

I do like the new ad approach this year. This clearly isn’t KI. I’d bet this is either from a sound stage or Knott’s, but that’s kind of irrelevant. Likely used chain-wide.

I’ve always thought that the network quality studio that they have right on property still has potential that has yet to be unlocked. Granted, FUNtv is intended for the whole chain, but having it right there could be advantageous if they call in some favors. Howard Newstate is gone, and I don’t know who works over there now, but the quality control hasn’t dropped. The content is good, the lighting is good, every shot pretty much looks exactly the way they want it to. If they had access to that equipment, coupled with quality local content (the Cirque video comes to mind) would make for some world class stuff.

Cedar Fair is no stranger to the idea of just making the exact same marketing work for all of their brands. They've done it before, and this is probably my favorite video compilation put together to showcase just that!!

^ It’s not unique to them. I’m fact, I remember doing a TV filming during the paramount days on Racer and Congo and we were told not to look out for the commercial because it was for other markets.

It might be for Knott's due to the fact that there where 2 videos uploaded titled Dark Entities and The Depths which are both new mazes at Knott's for this year (2018).

On the other hand, the swamp may be referring to BB (Backwoods Bayou).
