FOF
I remember that ride too, however i don't remember the name of it, it consisted of tanks, and you would shoot balls at each other i believe.
crosscountry4891
I remember those slides! I remember when I was a kid I thought they were so tall and they scared me so much. Then one day my dad dragged me up and I had a blast going down.
PKI Punk
I remember the slides, they were themed to Scoody and Shaggy wern't they. Didn't they sell the slides to Americana?

That was it! I also remember TONS of foam Nerf-like balls floating around in the water. I never saw it operate. Not once.
Scooby_Doo
Yeah the Slide! yeah it was Called Scrappy's Slide...Does any One Remember McScrappy's Farm? or Jabber Jaws Tubs?
FOF
I believe Jabber Jaws Tubs is what is now called Boo- Boos baggage claim, but don't hold me to that.
adbort
I believe Jabber Jaws Tubs is what is now called Boo- Boos baggage claim, but don't hold me to that. Yes you are correct about that. Boo's Boo's Baggage claim is the same ride as Jabber Jaws Tubs, just repainted and rethemed. It became Boo's Boo's Baggage Claim in 1998, with the expansion of HB Land. Edited January 1, 1970 by adbort

WildCat
I miss alot of old rides at Kings Island just wish I could have rode The Bat when it was running. I was in line and it broke down well the people on the coaster got 5 free rides out of it that day. The thing would not stop. I miss ridding the coaster with just a safty bar and not lap bar on The Beast and Racers. Now I have to ride The Beastie to just get the safty bar. I have some old pictures of the rides everyone is talking about. Here is a picture of Gulliver Rub a Dub from the Frist HB land. http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/groups/historyofk...cn7qGABdNRzYHOm
DA RIPPER
I miss the open seats on the Top Gun ride, it spoiled the ride when the seats was enclosed. I guess The Bat was the next closes thing to Top Gun I miss.

You must be thinking about Top Gun's at other Paramount Parks.

upstop
The Bat was one of the coolest rides, however, being an Arrow Prototype, it was destined to fail. If it could have reached half the speed of Top Gun, it would have been incredible. I didn't like the first set of brakes right after the drop. You always got slammed there. I think the whole design was so awesome.
Spongebob3-Dfreak
I am a part of the Action Theatre crew so I had to vote for James Bond. The first time that I ever rode Action Theatre was when James Bond was there. I miss the 7th Portal too but James Bond has to be my favorite. It's a shame that I never got to ride Days of Thunder. I think that I would have loved it.
Scooby_Doo
I have said before and i will say it Again The Smurf's Enchanted Voyage that's my 2nd Favorite Dark Ride
Kirkaf2002
King Cobra was awesome...it would have been even better if it didn't break down quite so much. I think everytime i rode it, i got stuck going up the hill.
StXBomber
I went with King Cobra. The fact that it was my first looping coaster put it at #1 for me.
WildCat
I actually miss many of the above. My favorite KI ride had to be one from my childhood. Enchanted Voyage (HB) was a ride that just blew my childhood mind away. I remember the music, some of the props, the entrance, and even those little boats. IMHO, it was one of the best- outside of a Disney park. Taft really did a good job of theming in the 70's. Screamin' Demon just completely scared the crap out of me. It was my first looper. The first part was fun, but to me....at my young age and experience, the reverse loop was diabolical! You would think alot of people would vote for other rides from the park. The Tuble Bug was a good ride, also the flying shoes or what every it was called at the time. The old train ride was very well themed and had live actors so alot of rides to pick from 32 years. carpetarson
I had to think long and hard about this one but my final vote went to King Cobra. I was very lucky to ride it during its final year of operation very fun ride. But hey does anyone remeber DAYS OF THUNDER in Action Theater. One of the classics. they need to put that one back in for a come back tour for a year or something. It would very nice to be able to ride it agian. Plus im sure they stil have the film somewhere. italianchef
I voted for the PHANTOM THEATER! I loved that ride more than any other at PKI except for The Beast and FoF. I never visited PKI w/o riding it at least 3 times when it was there. When Phantom Theater was removed, so was a piece of my heart. Phantom Theater was a unique and charming ride that was very much like Disney's Haunted Mansion. Riding it gave me the same joy that I felt when I rode Haunted Mansion at Disney's parks. I love Phantom Theater so much that I wrote a story about it that's posted on a different site. I've also thought about writing a screen play for a major motion picture based on Phantom Theater. But since the ride is gone, what's the point? In conclusion, I greatly miss the Phantom Theater and would like it returned to PKI. If I were a rich man, I'd but the figures, props, and musical score from PKI and built a new Phantom Theater on private property for me. Have a great day!
