I think its a great idea (not just because Cedar Point does it) but because its a terrific idea! Its fun and when they play techno it pumps you up for the ride!

It really depends. I know that it would give the associates peice of mind. Looping music is one of our worst enemies! But then again you have to think about people complaining that the music is crappy, too trashy, etc. Heh. If it works for CP.. then it might work for us. Who knows.

My vote is no. The music would have to be played loud and with all the rides bunched up (AZ) it would be very annoying hearing 9 different types of music playing at the same time.

Yea I agree with shadow cause at Action theater last year, OMG that 14min 36sec spongebob music that just loops and loops was terrible. Plus music is one thing, but DJ's, I mean really. Like the soundtrack that loops at Gun is ok cause its like 8 songs (that can still get annoying sometimes tho but at least we can turn it off) but I think DJ's is kinda over the top. And boxcar racer is right, AZ for example with 9 different music themes clashing at one time would be bad.

I say yes. As far has there being 9 different songs playing at the same time at Cedar Point Millennium Force and Mantis are less than One Hundered yards apart and I can't here them. Plus at PKI there are a ton of trees and trees block sound.

Dude, ur crazy, there arent any trees to block the sound at AZ, from SOB greeter, I can hear the phone ring at both sides of Skyflier, Dot and Dropzone, mind you thats with the music playing in AZ. Seriously all the music would clash together. CP has the trees and there is a much greater distance between rides. One reason why we can have music on Top Gun is cause its so far back that you cant hear it from anywhere else.

Ok I will admit it there might be a exception. When I was talking about trees I ment The Beast, Vortex, and racer. I guess I should have been more clear, sorry.

Yea, not that the 80's were bad or nething but we really should get some new music.

I myself like the music currently being played. Also to the first post, techno doesn't get "everybody" pumped up as you say, it almost makes me want to puke. As my music tastes probably do to you.

Maybe instead of having a DJ at every ride, there would only be a few. Like SOB would have one along with Vortex, Beast, and F/O. Maybe more. Also I would want one where there are long lines. AE wouldnt get one because there is never a line. Also, I would want a variety of music. Not just techno or rap. Those darn TV's get old after a while, especially when they play the SAME thing over and over again. The one thing I remember about last years tv's was Evanescence.

I think The Beast should get one also the new coaster and Face/Off. I would say SOB but there really isnt any room. Vortex really doesnt have any room or any line. Flight of Fear already has the awesome theming in the line. Cedar Point only hs a Dj inthe line for Millenium, Magnum, Raptor.

I think that DJs would only fit in with certain rides. I think The Beast, Face Off, Drop Zone and Delirium would be the only rides that need them because of their lines. I think that if PKi was to put in DJ`s though, they should only do it on Friday and Saturday nights when the park is really crowded. I personally would not want to see DJ`s in ride lines at PKI. I just don`t see the need when the park has QTV. One bad thing about QTV is that they have been playing more and more commercials on that over the past couple of years.

Last year mainly on QTV was Counting Crows and Sheryl Crow with Big Yellow Taxi. This year I noticed every line I got into the line was playing JET with Are You Gonna Be My Girl.

Although I find this to be kinda strange....I think it would be great....

Better yet, how about Dj's in the station?? It would be worth it to get new music
