That's surprising to me. I'd imagine they're making even more money now with the Christmas lights, so it's interesting to see them cancel something else. Maybe there is too much overhead for that event, so they had to cut out Fall-O-Ween? It did mention they wanted to focus on more successful events, so it's possible this year's Christmas lights will be even better.

The Christmas thing is a 3rd party that is very turnkey with Coney. Not sure if this has any implication on that. Do they still do the Appalachian Festival? That was theirs...

WCPO just had a story on about this. Apparently attendance was pretty low - they said they weren't even seeing very high attendance among passholders who get a free ticket to the event. There's nothing on WCPO's website about it yet though.
