The $20 million facility will have three pools: a “splash” pool, a leisure pool, and a 10 lane 50 meter/ 20 lane 25 yard competition pool. The aquatic center will seat 900 people, making it capable of  hosting high-level competitive events.

I'm still not clear on how one would gain admittance.  Does it act like a community pool in which people purchase bonds?  Is there an admission charge?  Do you have to live in Mason to use the facilities?  Maybe these things are still being hammered out.

Glad this is happening, though.  Very cool!!
