Ah, so more from an operations perspective rather than a treacherous road hazard perspective?

I think so. Last time it rained and it didn’t close - although most agreed it should have - it was reminiscent of Winterfest 2005.
malem
The forecast is calling for widespread rain with temperatures near freezing. Doesn't make sense to open on a weeknight with those conditions.
Snowball
Makes sense to me. It's supposed to be cold, rainy, and it's a Monday. The park would be dead tonight.
Quirkster
I am sure it will be open tomorrow but I will be checking. I live in Northern Ohio closer to Cedar Point, this is about 3.5 hour+ drive for me. Tomorrow looks very clear 12PM and after, just cold though. I would say more from a health and safety perspective for both guests and employees. You need really good rain gear to stay safe in those conditions. It doesn’t take long for hypothermia to start rearing it’s head when wet and that cold.
