hking620
I bought a dining plan for my husband and myself. My husband won’t go to KI as often as my son (4 years old) and I. Since the dining pass is linked to my husband’s card.. what’s the chance they’ll let me use his dining plan for our 4 year old son when my husband doesn’t attend? I didn’t realize this was a policy (see below) or I would’ve linked it to my son’s pass! Ugh. Hoping for good news or advice! Can I add the All Season Dining Plan to any pass type? Yes, an All Season Dining Plan can be added to all Season Pass types, except Knott's Scary Farm passes. There is a difference in price between All Season Dining programs for Gold and Platinum passes. An All Season Dining Plan added to a Season Pass is only valid for redemption exclusively by the registered passholder. Once Dining Plan is linked to a Season Pass, it is non-transferable. In order for benefits to be redeemed, the Season Pass must be used for admission on the same date.
BoddaH1994
It wouldn’t work. The dining plan is activated when a guest scans in at the front gate. If they haven’t scanned in, it won’t let them utilize the dining plan.
hking620
Ooh no. Any chances Guest Services would assist with changing that or are they pretty firm on the policy?
robintodd
I would actually contact the park and ask. It wouldn't hurt. Especially if your husband has not yet been into the park this year. You may have mistaken his pass for your 4 year olds when attaching it to the plan.
Stoan
I'm sure for a small fee they would be willing to swap it once. They offer something similar if you change your mind on what kind of drink program you decided to go with.
DoomPlague
It probably depends on whether your husband has used the dining plan at all (or how much) but the only way to know for sure is to go to or contact guest services.
Driver8rws
99% of the time they have let my son use MY pass (with the drink plan on it) to get a drink. Even on days that I haven't gone with him to the park. BUT there was one time last year where someone would NOT let him and told him it had to be ME to used it.
