Michrollercoast Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 Seeing I rode The Beast at 1:00 am on October 2nd (my 18th birthday) well it was actually the 3rd but the event was on the 2nd, and it was the last coaster I rode in the 2004 season, I plan on opening up on The Beast as well. Quote

I've only been on The Beast at night once. Boy O' Boy is it a different experience. Quote
DeliriumDreamer Posted January 30, 2005 Author Posted January 30, 2005 There is nothing like riding The Beast at night...especially if you are in the front seat and your boyfriend is the driver... Quote
Captain Nemo Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 The only bad part rideing The Beast at night is that you can't see the parts that whip your neck, like during the day you can prepare for it. Quote
Delirium13 Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 The first ride I'll ride will either be Delirium or The Beast. But at night I'll be heading over to The Beast for a night ride, that's the best! Quote
Ben Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 Besides going to Cedar Point all summer, on my first trip to PKI, I'll probably ride Beast first. Quote
HabloRM Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 The only bad part rideing The Beast at night is that you can't see the parts that whip your neck, like during the day you can prepare for it. It's not that rough. Quote
Delirium13 Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 Yeah The Beast doesn't bother me. It may bounce you around a little but it's not that bad. Quote
TheKlockster Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 Well, probably - because SOB isn't that rough! I mean I have had terribly rough rides. But they weren't enough to deter me from riding more. Quote
holeinone888221 Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 This is a dumb question but i am new...what is dry run day? And if i am not working I will either ride FoF or The Beast. Quote
CoastersRZ Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Dry run day is reserved for employees and their families. Essentially, it allows the employees to get a feel for running the rides, stands and games with a more acceptable audience and one which is not paying to experience the park. It essentially allows the park to work out all the kinks and bugs of awakening for a new season before paying guests and pass holders enter the park. Quote
IRUNMERCHPKI Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 I can not wait for the Park to open... I have worked there for about 5 years now... Quote
Ben Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Have you ridden Son of Beast? LOL. Son of Beast is one of my favorites at PKI. Quote
IRUNMERCHPKI Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 SOB is brutal if you are a bigger person... Quote
familyman Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Amen to that. All aboard the pain train. I am going to take some advice from some other riders on here and try and ride it relaxed. Hopefully it will keep me out of traction this time. Quote
